Team GD Jiu-Jitsu is the most active Nova Uniao branch in the United States. At least half of the nearly 200 students are active competitors winning State, National, and International BJJ titles. The GD team has been able to win titles at the AZ State BJJ Championship 4 times and taken top 3 spots at the US Nationals from 2006-2009. Additionally, our competitors have titles in the World’s 2 most prestigious tournaments operated by the IBJJF, the Pan-Ams and World Championships (Mundial). To date Team GD has secured 8 World Jiu-Jitsu Championship Medals and 38 Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Medals.
